Licensing Required KS Controlled Shooting Area (CSA) License for Upland Hunting *A special CSA hunting license may be purchased that is valid only on Kansas CSAs, or hunters may hunt on CSAs with a current Kansas hunting license. Hunter education certification is not required on CSAs with a CSA license. • If I have a current Kansas state hunting license, do I need to purchase a CSA license? No, your current, valid Kansas hunting license is sufficient.
Birds • How many birds are included? 8 birds per hunter per hunt • How much is it to add additional birds to my hunt? Additional bird available. • What species of upland game bird will I be hunting? A combination of ring-necked pheasants & chukar • Will I be able to take my harvest home? Yes, we will clean & package it for you.

FAQS • Can I bring my own shotgun? Yes. We only carry 20 and 12 gauge ammo, so please bring your own ammo if your shotgun requires something different. Firearms will be stored in our secure locker room. • What if I have never shot a shotgun or upland hunted? Not a problem – our staff will cater to your ability level. • What is the noise level? Guns are loud, so we require all guests in the field to wear ear protection – either ear plugs or muffs. • Is wearing orange required? Yes, we require each hunter (and anyone else in the field) to wear a minimum of a hat and vest in “hunter orange” to participate in upland hunting. This is non-negotiable for safety concerns. We do have hats and vests available on-site for any guest who needs them. • How safe is it? As with any shooting activity, risks are involved. We have implemented strict safety rules and guidelines that are enforced by our staff in order to mitigate risk. • Is there an age limit? All ages are welcome, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the field.
